I have some tips for you:
- if you experience the error problem, you can move the program file and delete the program file after the problem, and again reinstall.
- if you have some programs, such as Dassault Systèmes CATIA V6, you need to disable it first.
- If you have some programs that have a DirectX 9, such as Dreamweaver CS6/CS5 or Autocad 2004, you may try to change the DirectX mode of these programs to DirectX 8.
The problems seems to have been fixed now. I have just reinstalled a clean copy of Windows 8.1 with DirectX 11.0 (11102) from disk image. It seems to avoid the error problem now, but I still don’t know why it happens in the first place.
The problem is not caused by the anti-virus program. If you try to migrate the software on a clean disk image without real-time protection, it will work perfectly. This proves clearly that the problem is related to real time protection.

Before I decided to release this tutorial and this guide, I tried to uninstall the game from the file manager as usual, and then reinstall the game with dx9upgrade.exe. The same strange results appeared.
