From a lens correction standpoint, Lightroom 5 continues to do a pretty good job, although I did notice a slight increase in problem pictures, which are still rare for me.
In the past, we only had 256 presets to use for color correction. Now, we can create up to 256 presets, provided you are willing to spend money for the expansion pack. If so, Adobe continues to provide a great set of color balance presets. You can easily create your own as well, which are saved in the image with its name. If you look on Flickr, you can find some beautiful color balance presets. Of course, the Lightroom 5 Presets are very much simulation presets, and not all can be used in the real world. For example, some are not even “set” in the sense, they are simply simulated camera parameters. Therefore, you can’t simply use them in Lightroom.
