Micrografx Designer 9 is a nice drag and drop software for creating professional forms or database.

Getting Started

You need to have a professional system with the database You can create the design as an image and use the edit function. You can save the design in a compressed or un-compressed image. Click on the image to save. Click on the graphic to edit the form. Save the form as a compressed image (jpeg, jpg or png. You can use the design window for this.

Design Options

When you have designed you can:

Edit the form in the grid view mode.

Export the form as a compressed image (jpeg, jpg or png.

Create the design from a template from the library. You can only create one file. If you want to use another you need to create a new template.

Insert / Delete / Edit Database Elements

You can insert database elements into an Image. The elements are:

Buttons, Labels, Textboxes

Controls (like radiobuttons, Listboxes, Checkboxes, Comboboxes)

Forms (like pie menus or drop down menus)

Lists (like check lists)

Images (like the image of the textbox)

Listboxes

Checkboxes

Pies

Lists

Labels

Images

Click on one of the elements to place it on the design. To delete an element you need to delete the whole picture.

Drop Down Menus

A drop down menu is a series of items that you can choose from. A drop down menu is easy to make with the designer. When you have completed the layout you open a configuration dialog where you can change the position of the individual items in the menu.

For example: You can use the menu position to set the distance to the buttons:

Position the items in the menu.

Move the button itself (with or without an icon) to the position you have set.

You can also set the position for each individual button in the menu.
